Courtney holds an MFA in Directing from Western Illinois University and a BFA in Theatre Arts from the Conservatory at Stephens College, where he currently works as an Adjunct Professor of Acting and guest director. Courtney is currently preparing for a 4-show Summer Season at the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre in Clinton, Iowa where he currently serves as Artistic Director. He will be directing Guys and Dolls as well as Bonnie & Clyde.
